Police called to Stockton Heath after teenager ‘jumped’

POLICE were called to Stockton Heath on Friday night after a teenager was ‘jumped’.

Just after 10.30pm, officers received reports of a teenage boy sustaining an assault.

The incident happened on Alexandra Road where the boy and his two friends were ‘minding their own business’.

The boy was then reportedly attacked before being chased by two males and a female to Burnside Avenue in the village.

A window to a property was also smashed in the incident.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Constabulary online quoting IML 1324057.”

One person reported that the group ‘attacked’ the teens with bottles and that one of them pulled out what they believe was a knife.
