Shooting near Hiram Johnson High School prompts police presence

Officers are at Hiram W. Johnson High School in Sacramento after a shooting across the street.Video from LiveCopter 3 shows a large police presence on the south side of the school on 14th Avenue off of 65th Street.The Sacramento Police Department said the shooting happened around 3:40 pm at the 6800 block of 14th Avenue, across from the school. There are no reported injuries.A spokesperson with the Sacramento City Unified School District said because the shooting happened while school was letting out, teachers and staff security moved people back inside the building for safety.This is a developing story.
