Stabbing in Sacramento leaves 1 man dead, 1 man in hospital

A stabbing in Sacramento left one man dead and another in the hospital on Saturday, according to the Sacramento Police Department. Officers learned of the stabbing while responding to a report of an assault in the 400 block of Broadway, police said. While the investigation is ongoing, police don’t believe there are any suspects outstanding. They said some type of disturbance may have taken place before the assault.The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim who died once next of kin have been notified.
