Sections of I-80 are still closed after whiteout conditions. Traffic on Highway 50 resumed after an earlier closure between Meyers and Echo Summit for avalanche control, according to Caltrans. Just spoke with a spokesperson for CHP, as of 8:15PM Saturday, there is no estimated time for reopening closed sections of Interstate 80 due to whiteout conditions at the top of the mountain. @kcranews
