FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) – Fresno fire investigators are working to find out what started a suspicious fire in southeast Fresno on Thursday morning.
It happened after 1:30 am at the Les Schwab Kings Canyon Road and Argyle tire store.
The fire department received an alarm from the building’s sprinkler system.
When the crews arrived, they found one of the roller doors partially open and a burning vehicle inside.
The fire brigade acted quickly to contain the fire.
“They arrived on site and found the doors so open that the fire would be suspect, so we will conduct a thorough investigation. When I first arrived the captain saw no one near the fire,” said fire chief Sean Johnson.
According to the investigators, a car was on fire. There were burning materials among several other vehicles in the building.
Nobody was hurt.
The officials did not provide any information about a possible suspect.
