Meteorologist Melanie Hunter says Northern California is waking up to temperatures in the 50s and 60s, but a northwest wind will help warm up the area throughout the day, especially those in the Northern Sacramento Valley. By 9 am, the Valley will be in the 20s, but by noon temperatures will be in the upper 80s, with daytime highs in the mid- to upper 90s.
