Shopping in Stockton for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday

It’s holiday season and there is always a need for a new sweater, a gift for someone close to our hearts, or a friendly detail for a dinner party.

Here are the shopping hours – and small business Saturday events – for local businesses this Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Miracle mile

Stockton’s Miracle Mile on Pacific Avenue is hosting their Holiday Sip and Shop on Saturday, November 27th. Some of the businesses featured – women-owned businesses that started during the pandemic – include:

Luna dinner

Lauren Tarullo owns and runs Cena Luna, a stylish place with great food for the table, the shelf and the self. She started her business during the pandemic and recently launched her online shopping website.

Small shop on the mile

Leslie Sanchez ‘Little Shop on the Mile opened in November 2020. This cozy shop is in the distance between Cena Luna and Sweet Life Boutique and offers a selection of jewelry, accessories and merchandise.

The lush studio

Owner Tina Phon works in her shop, The Lush Studio, on Miracle Mile in Stockton.

Originally an eyelash salon on Grand Canal Boulevard, Tina Phon turned her business into a plant shop during the pandemic. She has since moved to the Mile and reopened her plant shop there in early September.

Sweet life boutique

Juanita Pasley opened her business – like the women listed earlier – on the Mile when the COVID-19 pandemic developed.

Her goal with Sweet Life Boutique is to create a platform for local small businesses to showcase their handicrafts right in the heart of Stockton. She currently hosts 33 different small businesses in her business.

During the Miracle Mile Sip and Shop event, Pasley announced that Sweet Live vendors will be outdoors with their merchandise, pictures with Santa and free cookie decorations for kids.

Yosemite Street Village

Vendors collect their merchandise for the Shop Small event in Yosemite Street Village on Small Business Saturday this Thanksgiving weekend.

Businesses will have specials, discounts, and Christmas decorations around the block on November 27, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Food trucks are parked along Yosemite Street and organizers are holding their first Scavenger Hunt Pass competition, where contestants can win prizes from the village’s vendors.

Weberstown Mall

The mall opening hours will change on Thanksgiving weekend. Shops in Weberstown include Barnes & Noble, Old Navy, H&M, American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, Lids, Journeys and many more.

Sherwood Mall

One block from Weberstown, you can continue shopping at Sherwood Mall with the Thanksgiving hours changed. Stores in this location include Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Macy’s, Home Goods, Ulta Beauty, and many more.

Park Westplatz

Park West Place is located in North Stockton on Trinity Parkway and is home to several national retailers. Unlike the Weberstown and Sherwood malls, there doesn’t seem to be a big schedule. Some stores in this shopping complex include Target, JOANN Fabric and Craft Store, Lowes, and TJ Maxx.
