3 dead after shootings in south Natomas, North Sacramento
Three people are dead after shootings at two locations in Sacramento late Monday night, according to authorities. Both happened around 11 pm and police do not believe they are related.One of the shootings happened at a south Natomas apartment complex on San Juan Road.KCRA 3’s Brian Hickey was at that scene overnight and saw a dark vehicle with the windows shot out near the Woodbridge apartments.Police said they found two men seated in the car.”One of the males was deceased when the officers arrived on scene and another male in the car received attempted lifesaving measures but that male also ultimately passed away on the scene,” Sgt. Zach Eaton said.The other shooting was in the area of Eleanor Avenue and Arcade Boulevard in North Sacramento.Some people were involved in an altercation and all are believed to have known each other, police said.One person self-transported away from the scene and the other died, police said. Officers and detectives are currently currently conducting two, separate homicide investigations that occurred around 11:00 pm last night. One investigation is taking place in the 2000 Block of San Juan Rd and other is taking place in the area of Eleanor Ave & Arcade Blvd.
