Modesto, California – Jacquelyn, “Jackie” Brink entered this world on 10/1/38. She departed on 8/9/22. She was born in Hollywood, Ca to Joe and Pauline Stencil. Jackie was a lifelong resident of Modesto, Ca. She was married to Jim Brink for 15 years. They had 2 children, Ben and Rhonda Brink. During her marriage she was actively involved in the Madres de El Camino. She was also active in her children’s school activities. She helped run the concession stand for the little league team at Hart Ransom. Jackie had a daughter Jamie Francis, later in life. Jackie worked at the Sage Room, tending bar for many years. She met Fritz Geiger there. They had a relationship that lasted until his death. Jackie and Fritz led an active social life. They host many parties. She loved dancing and socializing with friends and family. Jackie was an avid gardener. Not only did she grow beautiful flowers, but also fruit and vegetables, that she used in her baking and canning.
Jackie passed away peacefully in her sleep. She had been battling cancer, with the Help of Community Hospice.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pauline Stencil. Her sister, Patricia Lundquist, her granddaughter, Mildred Smith and her life long best friend Pat Levitre. Left to mourn her are her children, Rhonda Brink, Benjamin Brink and Jamie Francis. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tanisha Brink, Amy Smith, Brittany Francis, Sagan Evans, Alan McPherson, Severick Layton and Emma Louden. Great grand children, Monique Smith, Malik Nickelberry, Allen Berry III, Asia Smith and Addison Smith. Great great grandchildren, Maliyah and Majesti Mayfield, Esmeralda, Theodore , Matthew and Hennessy Nickelberry Odin Hebenstriet. Her cousins, Sass, Sandi Barbara and Vic. Her sisters children, Jeffrey, Susan, Leslea, Bryan, and Kristie, her caregivers Shannon Morace and Darren McPherson.
