Fresno, California – Richard Borunda was born in San Jose Ca. on September 14, 1940 and passed away on June 18, 2022.
Richard was a resident of Fresno, Ca. He is survived by his two daughters Patricia Rodriguez (Andrew), Elissa Ramirez(Ralph), and his son Richard Borunda Jr. Three grandsons, Andrew Rodriguez, Danny Rodriguez, Eric Gonzalez, his granddaughter Ericka Borunda, five great grandchildren, Alyse Rodriguez, Gabrielle Rodriguez, Gisel Rodriguez, Eziah Gonzalez, and Ellemay Isabella Rosario.
He is also survived by his siblings, David Borunda, Billy Borunda, Benny Borunda, Lydia Borunda, Ruth Rodriguez, and Sally Borunda. He had many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Richard was a hard worker, he became a successful business owner of a Meat Market and Mexican Cuisine.
His hobby was to spend time with his family and friends, loved the casino in which he was very lucky. He made everyday count by visiting family, which he truly enjoyed. He loved to laugh and make jokes to lift everyone’s spirits, and he loved his Mexican music. He is now in eternal peace with his wife Arlene Borunda, along with his sons Greg Borunda and Eric Borunda.
A visitation for Richard will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Calaveras Chapel, 1605 L Street Ave, Fresno, CA 9372, followed by a funeral service will occur from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A committal service will occur from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at St Peters Cemetery, 264 N Blyth Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
