Valley highs will range from 105-108 degrees. That could mean a high of 107 in Sacramento, below the record of 112 that was set in 2020. That means people should plan around the heat in the afternoons, especially students with after-school activities. A few Sierra thunderstorms are possible today but those are more likely tomorrow. Roseville officials search for person believed to have started multiple fires | Both fires, one at a dumpster behind a store at the 300 block of Sunrise Avenue, and the other along I-80 at Atlantic Street, were reported just after 6 pm, the Roseville Fire Department said.
