The San Antonio Spurs are in full tank mode as the Spurs will likely be active at the deadline in trading some pieces away. But, in this game, I do like the Kings to win and cover the spread. Sacramento is 6-2 against the spread as a road favorite while San Antonio is 23-28 ATS overall this season. Meanwhile, these two teams have already played twice and neither game was competitive with one game in Sacramento and one game in San Antonio, with the Kings winning 130-112 and 132-119 with an average margin of victory of 15.5 points. Sacramento’s offense – and their shooting – will be too much for the Spurs’ defense that gives the most amount of points in the league. I expect a double-digit win for Sacramento to cover the spread.

Take the kings to cover.

Prediction: Kings -7.5

I also like the over in this matchup as Sacramento has the best offense in the league going up against the worst defense in the league. Along with that, San Antonio’s offense is good enough to score over 110 points which is what is needed here for the over to hit. As we saw in the two games these teams have played, the game went for an average of 246.5 PPG while this season, Sacramento is just 22-26-1 in hitting the over but San Antonio is 30-19-2. Meanwhile, the Kings are playing at a pace of 102.1 which ranks 13th while their offensive efficiency ranks second, as the Spurs play at a pace of 102.5 which ranks seventh and ranks 30th in defensive efficiency. In Sacramento’s last 10 games, the games are averaging 236.5 PPG while San Antonio’s last 10 games are averaging 244.1 PPG.

Take the over here.

Prediction: Over 244
