AT LEAST COMPARED TO WHAT WE’RE USED TO. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE WIND RIGHT NOW. 20 MILES PER HOUR IN FAIRFIELD. LIGHTER AS YOU GO THROUGH THE VALLEY. I DO EXPECT LATER THIS EVENING, THE WIND WILL PICK UP FOR JUST A FEW HOURS. IN PLACES LIKE SACRAMENTO, UP INTO MARYSVILLE, AUBURN AS WELL. LOOK WHAT HAPPENS TOMORROW. WE START WITH A LIGHT BREEZE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF COURSE BEING THE DELTA LOCATIONS, YOU’LL NOTICE THAT IN THE MORNING. BY THE AFTERNOON, THOUGH SUSTAINED WINDS, 15 TO 20 MILES PER HOUR, THROUGH THE VALLEY. AND APPROACH 20 MILES PER HOUR AS WELL FOR SOUTH LAKE TAHOE AND TRUCKEE. THAT’S WHERE WE COULD SEE SOME GUSTS ANYWHERE BETWEEN 20 AND 30 TERRIBLY STRONG? NO. BUT IT IS THE 4th OF JULY, A LOT FOLKS HEADING OUTSIDE AND IF YOU DO HAVE ANY SPARKLERS, FIREWORKS, THINGS LIKE THAT, PLEASE BE CAREFUL ESPECIALLY TOMORROW. TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60’S AND LOW 70’S AROUND LAKE TAHOE. 81 TOMORROW AT JACKSON. 83 DEGREE IN AUBURN. STILL IN THE LOW 60’S IN SAN FRANCISCO.
