Soap legend Barry from Eastenders brings feel good karaoke show to Stockton

Soapland legend Barry from Eastenders is bringing his BARRIOKE show to Stockton. The star of Albert Square, Extras, Life’s Too Short – and more recently a “million viral videos” – will be appearing at The Social Room in September.

Real name Shaun Williamson, the TV icon has been taking the music festival scene by storm with BARRIOKE, his “ultimate” karaoke party, where punters could end up on stage duetting with the man himself. Shaun wants to be performing a set of the hottest hits on the planet – karaoke sing-along style.

“Presented with his usual trademark warmth and teasing banter, Shaun will be accompanying participants on stage, creating a riotous, joyous atmosphere that people will never forget,” a spokesperson said. “Start warming up those vocal chords and gear up for a night of BARRIOKE.”

Venues around the UK have described BARRIOKE as “one of the funniest and most insane nights we have ever had”, the “feel good karaoke party that’s sweeping the nation”, “one of the funniest, best nights out” and “probably the single greatest event we have ever booked”.

The Social Room opened above live music venue KU on Prince Regent Street in April, taking over an old karate club. The events space is also available for private functions.

BARRIOKE is on Friday, September 30 and tickets are available HERE.
