Weekend forecast for Sacramento rain, Sierra snow, CIM weather
Northern California has a slow-moving weather system moving in over the weekend and bringing more rain and snow. Here’s what our weather team says you can expect. Valley rainSaturday’s weather system has arrived and rain will get steadier in the afternoon and into the evening in the Valley.(Video above: 8 am rain forecast.) The California Internation Marathon from Folsom to Sacramento on Sunday morning looks cool in the mid-40s , with possible rain showers. But on Sunday there should be some longer sunny day breaks compared to Saturday. Valley rain
Saturday’s weather system has arrived and rain will get steadier in the afternoon and into the evening in the Valley.

The California International Marathon from Folsom to Sacramento on Sunday morning looks cool in the mid-40s, with possible rain showers.

Sierra snow
Snow levels will remain high at or above 7,000 feet in the Sierra on Saturday and lower to 4,500 later in the night.
