Wet weather returns, prompting some flood concerns for Friday

More rain will move through Northern California for Thursday evening into Friday, according to KCRA 3’s weather team. Due to the possibility of flooding for the weekend, KCRA 3’s weather team is calling Saturday an Impact Day. Here’s more of what you can expect:Northern California will see rain throughout the next few days Meteorologist Tamara Berg says rain Friday will be coming down heavily throughout the day and into the evening across the area, bringing some flood concerns. Rainfall will continue through Saturday before working its way eastbound, giving Northern California a chance to dry out before rain returns over the next couple of days. The bulk of the precipitation in the Sierra is coming in the form of rain, bringing the possibility of localized flooding.There could be enough rain by Saturday for flooding in flood-prone areasKCRA 3’s weather team is calling Saturday an Impact Day.Our weather team says that Sacramento area streams and creeks to watch will be Deer Creek, Arcade Creek and Dry Creek, which runs from Roseville to Rio Linda.
