UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State women’s basketball’s faces Toledo Friday, Nov. 25 and Fresno State, Saturday, Nov. 26 in the Daytona Beach Invitational, head coach Carolyn Kieger announced Thursday. The Lady Lions tip off against the Rockets at 1:15 pm and the Bulldogs at 11 am

The entire multi-team tournament is at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center and streamed on FloHoops.

Finishing the 2021-22 season ranked No. 63 in the final NET rankings, the Rockets return all five starters. Toledo posted a 29-6 overall record, won the Mid-American Conference Regular Season Championship with a 19-1 league record and reached the quarterfinals on the WNIT. Penn State and Toledo have never faced each other.

Fresno State is coming off an 11-18 year and placed eighth in the Mountain West Conference at 7-10. The Lady Lions and Bulldogs have only squared off once, a 90-67 victory on Dec. 20, 1990 in the Golden Bear Classic hosted by California.
