Sacramento couple carjacked at gunpoint outside McDonald’s

A husband and wife were carjacked outside a Sacramento McDonald’s on Friday, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said. The couple had left the fast food restaurant near Stockton Boulevard and Florin Road Friday night when they were approached by two men, the sheriff’s office said. Amar Gandhi said that after the carjacking deputies found the vehicle at a nearby liquor store, where four males were detained in connection with the investigation. Gandhi said another stolen vehicle was found in the liquor store parking lot. Deputies located keys to the carjacked vehicle nearby and discovered one of the detained individuals tried to hide it where they found it.One of the carjacking suspects was a juvenile and taken to juvenile hall, and the other was an adult male who admitted to stealing a car and was taken to the Sacramento County Main Jail, authorities said.
