Police have launched an appeal after a 15-year-old was hit by a BMW in a North East town and suffered minor injuries.
It happened at the junction of Norton Road and Hills Drive in Stockton at around 8.05am on Friday, January 13.
A BMW hit a 15-year-old cyclist before both left the scene before police arrived.
Police have since spoken to the cyclist, but they are now appealing for the driver of the vehicle to come forward to assist with enquiries.
Police believed the driver was heading towards Stockton town center when the crash occurred.

The child suffered minor injuries.
