Ying Yang Twins to play at Sacramento Kings opener halftime show

Longtime hip hop duo the Ying Yang Twins will bring their “Salt Shaker” vibes for the Sacramento Kings season opener, which promises pregame and afterparty activities for Kings fans.Anyone who grew up during the 2000s would know the group for their feature in rapper Lil Jon’s “Get Low”, and on Oct. 19, fans can see the two perform at halftime during the Kings’ match against the Portland Trail Blazers. Ahead of the game, the Ying Yang Twins will be part of a pregame event aimed at inspiring local youth.”We are thrilled to welcome fans back to Golden 1 Center to tip-off the regular season of Kings basketball following an eventful off-season and successful Summer League,” Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart said in a release. The group debuted in the early 2000s and earned a Grammy nomination for their song “Wait (The Whisper Song)”. Former Kings players Metta World Peace and Brad Miller will also be available during pregame to sign autographs and ring the cowbell before tip-off to start the season. There will also be an afterparty at the Sierra Nevada Draft House, where there will be DJs, food, drinks and merchandise available.
